I got my copy of the Kule today. And guess what it had in front? A not-so-nice charicature of our UP president.. Wow. Surprise,surprise. It amazes me how over here, we get to get away with pretty much a lot. And I'm saying A LOT. I love UP.
Mr. Pisay Scandals
Just recently, a certain batchmate of mine got into a lot of hooplah for expressing his unhappiness in a blog. The blog WAS kinda vulgar. But come on! IT'S A FRICKIN' BLOG! Gawd. HOW NARROW-MINDED ARE YOU FREAKS????? The president of the Philippines gets bashed a lot in newspapers. I don't see the writers shelling out public apologies in flag ceremonies.. Losers.. How very Marcos administration of you. I guess it's their own little way of kidnap and torture. Pathetic. Mr. Pisay Scandals was pretty stupid too. Stupid for thinking he was free to exercise his right to vent in his own blog. Very stupid. I guess we aren't so free after all. A few years ago a couple of PSHS-WVC students were in a scandal. I didn't hear public apologies. Oh yeah. It was their reputation anyway. What do you care? Huh?
